Finally, an off the shelf Maths intervention for students with difficulties which is research based and has a number sense foundation. We know if we spend time developing number sense and not algorithms students make better progress in the long term.

This program has been built based on current research and best practice in the teaching of Mathematics to students with learning difficulties. Mathtastic builds the 8 areas of number sense in a spiralling programs starting with numbers 1-6 and building up to numbers into the 100’s.

The program has been written to meet the demand for an evidence based, 1:1 or small group Maths intervention for Primary aged students. The use of concrete materials and games are fundamental to the program to ensure deep learning.

The Yellow pack (Steady) provides a copy of Level 1 and 2 of Mathtastic and will take students from working with numbers 1-10 through to numbers to 20. This is a good start for students who already have some knowledge of numbers to 10 and now need to work in the number sense for these numbers. By purchasing the 2 products together you save $10.
